Clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything needed for a good night’s rest. I’m saving this place for future stopovers. If you’ll arrive after reception hours, it may be worth checking the key collection details first. That might only be an issue with third-party bookings, as the information wasn’t included in mine.

The location is handy for town, and reception was welcoming and pleasant. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the new bathroom was nicely done. A ceiling fan and hair dryer would have been useful. The room also wasn’t very soundproof, and the TV next door was blaring at 4:30 am.

We came for a quick weekend away and needed somewhere that allowed dogs, so that was a real plus. The rates were fair for our room, and when we phoned after making a late decision, they reserved it without a deposit. The room had just been renovated, we think, and was clean, with comfortable beds. The walls are thin, but that didn’t bother us. Our one issue was the setup for five adults: they knew how many of us there were but provided one queen bed and two singles, with no couch or extra mattress offered. All in all, it deserves more than a 3.2 rating.

The pool was lovely and clean, and the place was very quiet. Our room and bathroom were both lovely and clean, among the cleanest rooms we’ve stayed in for a long time. Check-in was easy, and Tim was extremely helpful when we arrived after hours, sending me a photo of the safe and clear instructions since I’d never used one before. I have no complaints about our stay, and it felt well worth the money. Just be careful with taxis if you don’t drive, as the drivers may not use meters and may overcharge. The photo shows our granddaughter enjoying some quiet time after shopping.

Our dog was welcome too. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious, spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds. Highly recommend. :)
