Linda and Bruce were superb hosts. The fire was ready, and after a long drive I really appreciated the welcome pack and drink. Everything was clean and just right. The Baroness Suite felt like a whole house, and I loved cooking on the gas stove and full oven with the sort of appliances I use at home. The deck is superb...

Bruce and Linda were very friendly and shared some great suggestions for cafés, restaurants and hikes. Corner Manor was a good base for two days of walking, within a 10-minute drive of spectacular Echo Point and even closer to the quieter, still breathtaking Sublime Point. The parking pass for Leura was much appreciated, since parking there can be busy and expensive, as were the complimentary tea and coffee. The Cedar Suite’s old-fashioned decor felt cosy. The front door needed a shove or kick to open, which made a poor first impression. It seemed a little pricey, though that may have been down to the season or area.

We were close to the main village, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. The garden was gorgeous, and the accommodation had a lovely step-back-in-time feel with all the modern conveniences. We had a wonderful stay in Leura and look forward to coming to Corner Manor again.

Linda and Bruce, thank you for a few nights in a perfect regal escape. It was just what I needed to feel balanced again. The details were so thoughtfully handled, from the major furnishings to the tasteful china and books tucked around the suite. I really did feel like a Baroness.
