The setting is beautiful and the surroundings are quiet, but the cleanliness was a big disappointment. There was a broken table on the deck, stained curtains, dirty windows, out-of-date food leaking in the pantry and a broken kitchen cupboard door. The heater also needs its filter cleaned and wasn’t working. There was no wood for the fire, even though it was 11 degrees. The list could keep going. Management has been told.

The balcony gave us a lovely view of the lush green trees, and the secluded setting made the stay at Geebung Cottage feel private and like being out in the country. It’s also well placed, with the major attractions either walkable or about five minutes away by car. Finding the address took a bit of effort because the property is tucked away, but that was a small issue in an otherwise awesome, relaxing stay.
