The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. But a cockroach got into my sheets, which was pretty scary. Once I told the staff, they kindly offered me another room at 2 am. I was travelling alone, and the room was fine for that, with air conditioning, though it looked smaller than the online photos. The hallways felt a bit creepy at night with the lights off, and the bathrooms and toilets are shared, so keep that in mind. It’s close to the train station and good value for a solo traveller on a budget.

The pub meals at lunch and dinner are delicious, and hotel guests get a discount, which is a nice bonus. The rooms are simple, as you’d expect with pub accommodation, but the beds are cosy and comfortable. Shared bathrooms are beautifully styled and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Staff are friendly too. We’ve stayed several times because it’s so convenient for Accor Stadium, and we’ll be back.

The rooms felt cramped, much smaller than advertised. The window in ours had been painted shut, so there was no way to open it and it felt like we were suffocating. We asked to switch to a room with an opening window and were moved, but the person doing it was rude and had an attitude. I wouldn’t recommend staying in such a tiny space.
