Kathy always greeted us with a smile at breakfast, which put us in a good mood to start the day. The breakfast team were helpful and genuinely welcoming. Staff made the stay for me. The InterContinental Sydney was spotless throughout, from our room to the shared areas, with excellent housekeeping and attention to detail. Its CBD location is hard to beat, and the harbour nearby made the visit feel special. The views from the roof bar and level 31 pool were spectacular. It was an outstanding, memorable experience.

Breakfast at the Conservatory was fantastic. I’ve never seen food for so many people presented with such care and beauty, and the cold Pantry was something to behold. We also had a great time at Aster, the rooftop bar, with its amazing views. Someone on "the team" gifted us a lovely bottle of Proseco with chocolate, but no one would take individual credit when we asked who to thank. The InterContinental hotels feel elegant and special to us, and this is a gorgeous, safe, clean hotel in the best part of Sydney’s waterfront. Everyone we met took good care of us and was friendly and professional. The luggage team worked quickly through the constant flow of arrivals and departures. Ria, our check-in host, was polite, efficient and professional, and gave us ideas for things to do in town. We were thrilled our room was ready early at such an extremely busy hotel. This property met our needs and then some.

We had such a wonderful long weekend for our 20th anniversary and the Pulp concert. The location was perfect for an Opera House concert or simply a city weekend. The building is beautiful and smelled incredible, I wish I could buy that scent. The cocktails and snacks at the 31st floor bar came with stunning city views, something you have to do at least once in your life. The staff went the extra mile and made our stay feel special. Highly recommend, we’ll be back!

Waking up to views of the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and Royal Botanic Garden was unforgettable. We also loved being able to walk to so many things in the city from this central spot. Aster is worth a visit for sunset drinks or dinner, with impeccable views, and the hotel has plenty of restaurants and bars for when you want to stay in. Our arrival and departure were easy too, with convenient car pick-up and drop-off. Beautiful grounds and a wonderful stay. We'd happily come back.

We were on the 21st floor over the Mardi Gras and Bad Bunny weekend. The pool was lovely and had a great view, and the room was quiet, dark, and had a really comfortable bed. I couldn't hear the neighbours at all. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and spacious, right near Circular Quay. Room service was tasty and very reasonably priced, and the staff we met were friendly. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm in Sydney.
