Metro Aspire Hotel, Sydney

We were three people in a small, inexpensive room just outside Sydney, so we didn’t expect much. But it was clean and comfortable, the sofa bed was great, the smart TV worked, and the amenities and room service were excellent. We’d definitely stay again. We arrived exhausted very early in the morning after an overnight flight. The staff offered to store our luggage, but our room was ready before we even had a chance to leave it with them.

Rooms were spacious and very clean, and both the facilities and service were good. The hotel offers a baggage drop-off and pick-up area, a handy coffee and tea cart, and very good room service. The restaurant food could be better, though there are lots of cafes nearby. The location in the middle of Sydney CBD worked really well for us, about a 15-minute walk to Central Station and 12 minutes to Darling Harbour. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Metro Aspire Hotel and would happily return.

My travel agent in New Zealand suggested your hotel while I was in town for the four-day BNI Global Convention at the ICC. I wanted somewhere affordable and within walking distance, and this worked perfectly. The room was tidy and the cleaning team did a fantastic job. The location worked well, on a quiet street beside a park, and parking was straightforward. There’s an underground car park below for $30 a day. We had a balcony and a nicely styled room with everything we needed. Even with the hotel being in the middle of Sydney, it was incredibly peaceful and we weren’t disturbed by other guests. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, especially with children. We felt very welcome with our two-year-old.
