Novotel Sydney Darling Square

Late checkout meant we could have a relaxed morning instead of rushing out, and breakfast had a great variety after a big night. The buffet was excellent. Every staff member we met was welcoming and friendly, so we felt at home from check-in. We booked two Superior King Rooms for our group of five at Novotel Sydney Darling Square on Friday, January 30th. They were incredibly comfortable and well-appointed. We were in town for the Matt Rife World Tour at the TikTok Entertainment Centre (ICC), and being close made the trip there and back a breeze. The show was awesome, and not having a long commute afterwards made the night better. Everything was within walking distance. Before the show we had a fantastic meal at Harajuku Gyoza - Beer Stadium at Darling Harbour, and the walk between the restaurant, hotel, and entertainment centre was quick and easy. Thanks for a great stay. We’ll be back next time we have an event in the city.

My Daughter Nilu booked this hotel for our staycation because it was our Anniversary. They welcomed us and let us choose one bottle, white, red, or champagne. Not all 3, just 1 🤣🤣🤣 That was Awesome! Thanks indeed for that 👍🏽🍾🥂😊 The room was great, neat, clean, and tidy. A free bottle of water would have been much appreciated, but never mind, that’s perfectly alright. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were helpful. Christina @ the front desk gave Awesome service, and the young male staff member who served us when we arrived did a great job too. I’m so sorry I couldn’t get his name. Loved the swimming pool as well. Thanks for everything. Looking forward to coming back and sharing the great service of yours!

Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices, and the space was beautiful. Reception did a great job arranging a taxi for our family, and it arrived very quickly. I’d happily stay here again. The location was perfect, with a great outlook from the room, lots of restaurants nearby, and a leafy park directly across the road. Our clean rooms were well equipped. The underlay on my bed was uncomfortable and made it lean to one side, so I stripped and remade it myself. We also lost wifi for quite a few hours one evening, which was annoying because we couldn’t stream. It wasn’t the end of the world, though a leaflet explaining the wifi would’ve been useful. I was disappointed there was no minibar.

The hotel is centrally located, convenient for visiting Sydney's sights, yet quiet enough to relax. I brought my traditional dress and needed to iron it. I thought, OMG, I’d forgotten to bring my travel iron and would have to pay to get it done. Luckily, every room has an iron. What a wonderful trip I had! Thank you!
