Jess deserves a special thank you for guiding us through the wedding planning so smoothly, and Rahni, Paris, Eden and Teneil were wonderful throughout the event. Having coordination included on the day made a huge difference. The team worked seamlessly with our vendors, looked after our guests and made sure my husband and I were fed, watered, had cocktails, got my dress bustled, and heard plenty of kind, supportive comments. We chose a cocktail wedding, and both the food and the venue were fantastic. Pasadena made a gorgeous setting for the ceremony and reception, while our guests appreciated the spacious, comfortable rooms and the bridal suite was perfect for getting ready and gathering together. From our first contact, the team were welcoming and supportive. They answered every question and thought of everything during our 12 months of preparation. Such a well-organised, sweet team. I’d recommend booking your wedding here, or at least stopping by for lunch and experiencing the 11/10 service. XX

Our guests are still talking about the cocktails, canapés and especially the charcuterie board from cocktail hour. Dinner was phenomenal too, with every dish getting compliments, and the staff made sure there was plenty of food and drink while keeping everything running smoothly. We were lucky with the weather and held the ceremony in the beautiful outdoor space, just as we’d imagined. Jess was organised, responsive and helpful with every question from the start. After our first meeting, we knew Pasadena was the right choice. The whole team brought our vision to life and made the day feel magical. We can’t wait to return for anniversaries and other celebrations. Pasadena will always mean a lot to us. 🤍

The staff were genuinely lovely, and their service was the best part of our Christmas lunch at The Pasadena. The rest of the visit fell short, though, and our group wouldn’t return. We were told we had one of the “best water view tables,” but it was right beside the DJ booth. The music was too loud for a restaurant, and the acoustics made conversation difficult. The drinks didn’t help: the margarita had little flavour, the Silent Assassin seemed watered down, and the espresso martini was harsh and much too strong. The food was uneven. Ravioli and beef cheeks were average at best. The barramundi was the biggest letdown: while other plates had thick, generous portions, one looked like it contained only a tail and barely any fish. At that price, it felt careless. Despite the kind staff, the overall experience didn’t live up to the reputation or cost. We’d welcome a reason to return if standards improve.

What made our three-night stay feel so seamless was the team. From reservations and the kitchen to the floor staff, everyone went out of their way to help. Jess, our event manager, was calm, flexible, intuitive and a joy to work with. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Even on a hot day, the reception stayed comfortable thanks to the well-managed air conditioning. Pasadena gave us an intimate, beautiful wedding, with a stunning ceremony space by the water. Having accommodation on site for 30 guests let our closest friends and family stay together and enjoy the whole weekend. The food was outstanding, and our guests are still praising the meals, flavour and service. Every detail felt cared for, which reflects the pride of a family-run venue. We chose Pasadena because of that personal approach, and it exceeded what we expected. We live an hour away and can’t wait to return for the memories, food and atmosphere. It’s excellent value, and we recommend it highly.
