Richmond Inn

I used to enjoy going to The Richmond Inn for years, before the ownership changed a few years back. Since then, management seems to have no idea how to run the place, and the liscencee was downright disrespectful to me. Patrons are treated like walking bags of money with no regard for them. It's now one of the worst places I can imagine setting foot in, whether for a meal or a drink, and after how badly I was treated, I won't return.

The staff were actually decent and trying their best, which made the manager's behaviour stand out even more. Arrogant, toxic and openly disrespectful, they ruined the atmosphere. No pub is worth putting up with that, so I won't be back and would tell others to skip it too.

The other staff have been lovely, but the manager is awful to people, treating them like garbage for no reason and acting entitled. She's costing them customers and giving the place a bad name. Do better. Then the manager banned me for leaving a negative review of her behaviour instead of acknowledging the issue several people had raised or changing anything. She asked to have a “conversation,” but ended up yelling in my face and accusing me of “having something going on in my head.” It was disrespectful and disgusting.

Chef Mikey is my favourite! The beef ragu is the best, and the beef & Guinness pie is amazing. The whole team and management are great, and it's always a friendly, welcoming place. Highly recommend.
