St. Raphael kindly moved us from the Priest’s cottage to the Chapel room without charging extra, which we really appreciated. It was a lovely, comfortable experience in a great location. There’s free laundry, and the place feels historic while still being modern, warm, and equipped with a nice kitchen.

The St Raphael Chapel made a great base for exploring the Blue Mountains, though it isn’t accessible for disabled guests. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped, and the large bedsit has a comfortable living area, with the bed raised on a plinth at the end of the chapel space. During the unusually hot January 2019 weather, air conditioning or at least ceiling fans would have helped.

The gardens are gorgeous, and the convent feel was divine, with opera playing and floating candles waiting for us when we arrived. The kitchen is incredible, so bring provisions and eat in. It was perfect for our gals' reunion. We loved it, thank you Morris!

We only had one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The owners were absolutely wonderful, and the location is within walking distance of the main town. The place was incredibly clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had all the amenities we could ask for. Thanks to Maurice and the team. We’ll definitely stay again.

The rooms are clean, and it’s a cozy, romantic place in a good location. Blue Mountain activities are a bit far away, but the village has some nice restaurants and bars.
