Sydney Boutique Hotel

The location worked really well, between Darlinghurst and Kings Cross, with Hyde Park and the CBD an easy walk away. Sam upgraded my basic room to a clean studio at no charge, and it had a quirky feel, including a chair unlike any I’ve seen, but surprisingly comfortable. The bed was very soft, which suited me, though anyone with a bad back might want to ask about a firmer mattress. Sam was welcoming, professional, and helpful, and the gentleman on duty at checkout offered to hold my bags for the day, a nice touch. Great value, and I’d happily stay again.

The room was a real treat, especially the balcony, comfortable bed, and shower with excellent pressure. Staff were welcoming, and the manager was attentive throughout. Being central meant we occasionally heard road noise or sounds from nearby rooms, though it didn’t take away from our comfort. Access is by stairs, so keep that in mind if mobility is an issue. We had a lovely stay and would come back.

The room was clean, well equipped, and everything worked; the bed was comfortable too. I ended up here at the last minute on Sunday after a problem at another hotel, and the receptionist was kind and helped me out. On Monday morning, another receptionist helped me find a room for that night and was attentive and kind as well. If I’m back in sydney, I’ll come back here.

Sam greeted us right away and was warm, welcoming, and accommodating, a top tier receptionist. Marco, our airport shuttle driver, also gave us exceptional customer service. I highly recommend both of them.
