Our room was beside the garbage room, and there was even a dirty towel hanging in the courtyard. The bathroom had black mould and a bonus black hair. It was cleanish at best. This was the 'dungeon' room under the corner of a main road, and the noise and location don't seem worth an eye-wateringly expensive rate. Light came in around the blinds, and there was a wall right outside the windows. I was glad I'd brought ice packs to keep the fridge cold. Please read the reviews carefully before booking a $400 studio. My feedback got a pretty underwhelming response.

The hotel was very accommodating about refunding me after my flight was cancelled because of the war in the Middle East. I had planned to come in April this year, after a very satisfying stay in 2025, when the service was friendly and courteous. That's another point for their customer care. I'll definitely stay at Lurline again on my next Sydney visit.

We picked this place for a concert at Centennial Park, and it worked perfectly for us. It's right next to the light rail, check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly. The room was nice and had everything we needed for one night. Despite the central location, the road noise wasn't enough to disturb us. Everything was clean, and I'd recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

The location is great if you're staying in the area, but I'd look elsewhere. The room I was given at the lurline didn't match the description: it was described to me as a queen room with a modern bathroom, but I got two single beds pushed together and a wet room that leaked into the main room. When I asked to speak with the on-duty manager, staff only gave me an email address for my enquiry. A week has passed without a reply. I was very upset and, despite having heard good things, left very unsatisfied.

We were put in the 'dungeon' room for three, next to the shared kitchen and bathroom, with people coming and going. It had no ventilation, the bathroom drain smelled awful, and you could see grease sitting in the drains. The carpet was dirty too. Parking was terrible, with the closest car park a kilometre away. We raised it with reception, but they didn't seem particularly bothered. This accommodation costs a lot for what it is, and I'm pretty disappointed.
