Leisure Inn Spires

It's a great base for parking the car and exploring. Our apartment was spacious and clean, with a kitchenette where we could make a meal and washing facilities. The train, shops and Alexander Hotel are just a 1min walk away. There was a hop on hop off bus, but we chose to drive ourselves to all the tourists spots. Leura had it all.

I went with two friends in early January and we rented a one bedroom apartment suite. It would work well for a girls trip or a family vacation in the blue Mountains. The hotel sits at the top of the hill in Leura, near the railway station and within walking distance of shopping on the main mall. Our rooms were spacious and very clean, and the full kitchen was wonderful.

After the first night of our two-night Blue Mountains trip, I had a few bites but couldn't tell if they came from the bed or something else. By the end of the second night, I was sure they were bed bugs. Very disappointing. Aside from that, everything was ok, but I probably won't come back, even though I do plan to visit leura again. I'd consider it if the hotel contacted me and sorted something out.

The place is neat and very well kept, and the room itself was good. Just keep in mind it works more like an airbnb than a usual hotel: you need your own streaming passwords for the tv, and you have to put all rubbish in the bins. I washed and cleaned the kitchen utensils and left them to drip dry, but still got charged the service fee.
