The breakfast buffet was generous and varied, served in a bright, airy dining room. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the staff were approachable, friendly, and eager to help. The motel is getting a tasteful facelift/upgrade. We’re country folk unfamiliar with Sydney, but found the location convenient and easy to access. There was plenty of parking, including a significant number of clearly marked spaces for people with disabilities. It made for a convenient and affordable overnight stay.

Getting around from here was great, but the room itself was a letdown. The sheets felt rough and crinkly, and they made a lot of noise. The air conditioner was loud all night too, so it was hard to sleep properly. The room looked dated, with broken bathroom door hinges, missing towel rails, and old fittings and screws still in the tiles. I also wasn’t told about the extra parking charge when I booked or when I spoke with staff before we arrived.

The hotel had a really welcoming feel, and I found the staff friendly and helpful. I also appreciated being able to check in at any time and check out at 11am. Breakfast was included, which was a nice start to the day, and the place was clean. The bathrooms could use an update, the minibar is expensive, and parking costs extra. It does seem they’re working on improvements, especially the dining hall expansion. I had a comfortable, pleasant stay.

The wait staff were excellent, but I wouldn’t stay here again. The place looked good when we walked in, and that was about it. At check-in we had to prove breakfast was included, even though we had that in writing. Staff said we must have cancelled and rebooked, which we hadn’t, and told us to call luxery escapes for proof. Our room was very dated. The carpet was dirty and rippled enough to be a tripping hazard, and the chair upholstery was filthy. There was no smart TV, and a green line kept appearing across the screen, which looked close to failing. The bathroom needed maintenance, and dust had clogged both its exhaust duct and the air conditioning duct. The first night the fire alarm went off, and one lift broke down. The other lift was already out of order when we arrived. Breakfast was a very average buffet for a four-star hotel, with no provisions for coeliacs and very few choices. Only full-cream milk was offered unless you asked for another option. This was one of the worst places we’ve stayed.

We spent three days at an Indian wedding here, and the venue was well organised, spacious, and had plenty of parking. The service was good. A great place for a wedding, thanks ❤️
