The prices were good, and the garlic cheese bread was tasty with a generous serving. My steak was nice, though a little overcooked, and the Diane sauce was excellent. The salad was a bit lacking, but the dressing was nice. My wife’s steak was the same size as mine, but had a lot of gristle and was slightly undercooked. Service made for a mixed experience. We waited at the bar to find out where the dining room was, while one barman stood there serving nobody and another collected glasses while trying to serve everyone. After we sat down, the waitresses disappeared. We waited a few minutes at the dining room bar, then went to the main bar. The same guy served me while the other one still seemed to be getting in the way. Meals were ordered without a problem. It was an interesting experience.

The dining room looks out over the river, and the view is spectacular. We were travelling through and stopped on a whim, and the food was amazing, served hot and quickly with very generous portions. The staff were attentive, friendly, and kind, especially with our young children. Couldn’t fault it. Highly recommend!

We had great hospitality and a fantastic chicken schnitzel, really delicious. There’s a wonderful view across the Murray from the dining room. The traditional pub style accommodation was lovely, with a very clean, cute room, fluffy towels, and a great hot shower. We’d stay here again!

The river views were breathtaking, and service was fast and very friendly. The three of us all thought our meals were absolutely excellent. Very highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely go back.

After the next track day, we’ll definitely come back. We stopped here hungry on the way home from The Bend, wanting a decent meal instead of fast food. The service was great, the meals came out quickly, and everything we had was excellent. The view through the cliff top windows was amazing, with the Murray and pelicans hovering outside.
