The meal was generous and well priced, and our room was roomy and spotless. The manager made the stay feel personal: she was warm and helpful at check-in, then chatted with us while we were swimming and asked where we were travelling from and how things were going. Ruby looked after us in the restaurant with friendly, confident, efficient service. We usually stay elsewhere in Tamworth, but it was full this time, so we tried Stockmans’s. That’s changed our plans for future visits. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

We had 24 guests for my 70th birthday lunch and everyone said they enjoyed it. The dishes looked lovely and the food was great. Service was friendly, attentive and well organised for a group that size. A wonderful place for a special occasion.

Mel, Dee and Shane Shawn John deserve a special mention for making us feel welcome and being so accommodating. The staff were the best, and the food was amazing. Great rooms and an awesome pool too. We’d recommend it for a holiday or a work trip. Cheers from Leanne & Kylie.

The food was good, but waiting nearly an hour and a half for the rest of our dinner was frustrating. We arrived at 6:40 and service started promptly. One pizza came at 7:20. When I asked about the other three meals at 7:40, I was told there was an hour wait, which would have been useful to know when ordering. I was then told our meals were next, and they arrived at 7:55. That’s a long time to wait for two steaks and chips.

The restaurant was a highlight, with good food, service and value, and reasonable prices. Our room was also big, clean and comfortable, with a huge TV. We stayed three nights and would choose it again next time we’re in Tamworth. 10/10. Cheers 👍👍
