A heads-up if stairs are an issue: the cottages have steps up to the bedrooms. We’d still love to stay again. June and Andrew have made four lovely, well-appointed cottages in a quiet setting, with comfortable furnishings, good wifi, and lots of thoughtful extras. June emailed before we arrived to suggest stopping in Sorrel for supplies, since there’s no supermarket on the peninsula. We also appreciated the paper map and local information booklet. Google is useful once you know where you’re going, but a hard copy is great when you’re new to an area. Even the coffee machine came with written instructions, which saved us the usual guesswork.

June’s guidebook gave us ideas for walks and activities we hadn’t found in our own research. She was responsive and welcoming throughout, and the villa was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It’s a peaceful, well-maintained property overlooking calm, beautiful water. We didn’t manage all the walks we wanted to do, so we’ll definitely be back and hope to book here again.

Food choices nearby were limited, though there were snacks available to buy in the villa. The location in Taranna was convenient for all the tourist attractions. The villa itself was cosy yet spacious, with water views and lovely bedrooms, and our hosts were thoughtful and so nice. It was our favourite place we stayed during our Tasmania holiday.

June and Andrew were wonderful hosts, even helping us sort out a flat tire. We stayed in the yellow villa, which had lovely views and all the amenities we needed. It’s ideally located for exploring the peninsula, from park trailheads to the sights around Port Arthur. Couldn’t recommend it more.

We only booked two nights and wished we’d had longer. June was very welcoming and suggested places to visit, and the modern villas were spotless and tidy, with plenty of room for kids to explore. There’s a peaceful beach at the property, great balcony views, an outdoor BBQ, and a Nespresso machine inside. We also had a great time fishing for fish and squid at Blowhole jetty, and the Cape Rauol walking track was amazing. It’s a wonderful place in a good location, with clean rooms. Highly recommend.
