The staff were warm and quick to help, which made me feel at home. I also liked having a clean pool to relax by, and the motel was in a handy spot near shops and local attractions, while still feeling peaceful. My room was roomy and well kept, with a particularly cozy bed, so it was easy to unwind after a long day. Great value, and I’d gladly stay at Taree Motor Inn again and recommend it to anyone visiting Taree.

Joy, the manager, was friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. We spent two nights in the Riverside Room, and it stayed quiet through the night. The room was clean and spacious, with fresh linen, a comfortable bed, and a full bathroom. The pool water was crystal clear and looked well maintained. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return.

AVOID THIS MOTEL!!!!!! The place was old, dirty, and clearly not well maintained. The walls were dirty and the bar fridge was tiny. A pile of dirty linen had been left near one of the stairs, and the so-called function room was in a shambles, unkempt and apparently unused for a long time. Outside our room, a used hypodermic needle was sitting on a timber bench seat by the door. We took photos in case anyone wanted to see them. Our room was so compact it was tiny, nothing like the size suggested by the internet photos. When we checked in, we were handed a scrap of paper with the room entry code. I asked for a copy of the credit card payment and was told it couldn’t be provided then, but would be given to us later. It never arrived. They didn’t ask for our address, or even whether our name had been understood properly. Our arrival had already been off-putting: an Indigenous gentleman was outside the entrance thumbing a lift with two bottles of wine. Not a good look. A disaster. AVOID TAREE AND THIS MOTEL!!!!!!

Room 6 had a lovely view of the river, and the whole stay felt peaceful and relaxing. The staff were so friendly, always greeting me with a smile and making sure I felt welcome. Everything I needed was in the clean, comfortable room. I really enjoyed my time there and would happily come back. Highly recommended.

The price made this a perfect spot for an overnight stay, with shops and food outlets close by and easy parking. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was. The bathroom was a little worse for wear, though, and after the floods it needs a major update.
