We found this a lovely, roomy and peaceful house for a romantic getaway. There’s natural beauty all around, with mountain top views, waterfalls and walking tracks nearby, plus some excellent places to eat.

That hot tub is just right for easing sore muscles after a big day skiing or hiking, and The Barn has everything we could need. We keep returning to Lothlorien year after year, because it feels like a little piece of heaven, even better than home. The location is wonderful, and hosts Tim and Marsie always go above and beyond. Their service is exceptional, and you can truly relax knowing everything is taken care of.

We’re already looking forward to another stay at Lothlorien. The property was immaculate, with lovely gardens and a stunning view of the starry sky at night. It had everything we needed, and Tim and Marsie were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Amazing hosts and location.

There was plenty of room for our family of four and the grandparents, and we all slept comfortably. The property was modern, clean and well equipped, with breakfast and a lovely platter from the hosts. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi. A magical place with wonderful hosts, highly recommend.

This was our fourth holiday at Lothlorien, and we keep coming back for the spotless luxury accommodation and fabulous hosts, Tim and Marsie. The fridge is stocked for breakfast, and it’s lovely to wake to birdsong and unwind with a dip in the spa at night. Mt Beauty is just minutes away for shopping, and Beechworth, Bright, Yackandandah and other interesting towns are within an hour’s drive. We can’t recommend it more highly.
