The pork belly with vegetables was the standout, even though the beef cheek was excellent too. Our kid was happy with the mild BBQ pizza, and the service was good. We were three for dinner, and as a Melburnian I was impressed by the food quality in this location. No complaints.

Dinner here in Tenterfield was alright, but the prices felt high for average meals that weren't city quality. The pub itself was tidy, and it seems to have plenty of potential, which made the unfriendly attitude from staff all the more disappointing. I wouldn't return. Management could review service procedures and look into what might be behind the poor etiquette and welcome.

The sweet potato fries were absolutely delicious. We had lunch here and stayed local. It came to around 45.00 for two drinks and the chips. There’s room inside across two separate areas, plus an outdoor space where dogs were hanging out with their owners.

We were starving after hiking all day at Girraween National Park, and they still served us dinner even though we arrived right at closing time. The food and drinks tasted so good. Really grateful for the kind service, thank you! Annica & Paul

My husband enjoyed both meals, but my steak was still pink after I asked for medium to well and not pink. At $51, that was disappointing. I also asked for my lemon lime and bitters to be corrected, but it still wasn't right and I couldn't drink it. They need to learn how to make this basic drink, and the menu should say the mushroom sauce is full of pepper. I left the drink on the table and went home for toast, so that's why I'm reviewing.
