Kathy and another staff member managed to get all three couples together on powered sites, then Kathy called to let us know. Before that, she spent more than half an hour on the phone working through our changed dates and earlier arrival, trying to arrange three sites for us. She was incredibly patient and did everything she could. We had the best experience booking into this park. Not many parks would go to those lengths. Hats off to you ladies, you’re a credit to the place. From Leah, Michelle and Steph.

We left because the noise got to be too much. For all four nights, there were three hours of live music, Monday through Thursday. The performer was talented, but the same country songs played incredibly loud every evening, so getting to sleep early or simply relaxing quietly wasn’t possible. At that price, we expected a chance to rest. The setting is gorgeous and the pool is incredible, but the sites feel packed together like sardines despite the different sizes. If you stay, a site right at the back might be quieter, though the view there isn’t worth it.

Some things we liked were still just as good, even after all the changes since we were here about 15 years ago. This trip didn’t disappoint at all.

The campsite has beautiful established trees throughout, and the grounds are well maintained. There are cabins, a restaurant, and an outdoor dining area strung with festoon lights. Live bands add to the atmosphere. The infinity pool is a highlight, with a great viewpoint, and the location is great too.

$105 a night for a powered site felt too expensive to me. I wasn’t impressed with the price. I went to Kununurra, where locals say the cost has nearly doubled since a big corporate bought the site. Sad.
