You can swim in the river right on the property, surrounded by beautiful old forest. Every room feels different, with striking oil paintings that pull you into a dreamlike world. The artist who owns the place can tell you about the paintings and sculptures, and if you're lucky, might show you around the house. Such a magical, nurturing stay.

Milu, the adorable dog, kept me company for all three days, joining me on morning walks, afternoon strolls and even a swim in the river. Mrs Odum was a wonderful host and a talented artist, and made the tastiest croissants I've ever had. Her property feels like paradise, especially if you love nature. It was one of the most peaceful stays I've had in a long time.

Set in the forest, the distinctive dwellings and artistic touches look out over the creek. Brigitte and Dale did so much to make our stay comfortable and restful, matching the beautiful, serene surroundings. We had an amazing break.

The lovely couple who run this haven were attentive to what we needed, and the price was very reasonable. We stayed here for our honeymoon. The quaint accommodation is a beautiful spot to unwind or take a walk along the babbling creeks winding through the lush countryside. Well worth the drive and an overnight stay.

Dinner was delicious and filling, and the nearby creek is a great place to watch for platypus. The room had quirky, interesting decorations. A lovely, peaceful place to stay, and we'd like to come back for longer.
