Nanango Star Motel

I wouldn't want any woman staying here alone. I was approached by a large man with a small white dog. The dog was fine, but the man wasn't. I was with domestic violence and the police dropped me off, though there was nothing wrong with them either. It was that large guy.

The room was spacious and well equipped, and the staff were friendly.

I have asthma and can’t manage flights of stairs, so from my very first phone conversation with the Manager of The Star Motel ~ Nanango Q, I appreciated how attentive, empathetic, and understanding they were about my situation. When we arrived, the friendly, caring reception manager reassured me that all the rooms and suites are on the ground floor, with no stairs to climb. That was a real relief. My husband and I stayed two nights, including January 31 and February 1, 2025, and we both slept comfortably. The room was spotless and well maintained, the mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the linen and bathroom towels were fresh and clean. With several decades of serious, valid lower spine and hip problems, sleeping away from our own bed can be difficult. Honestly, this mattress was better than ours. The shower was very clean and had excellent hot water and pressure. Although The Star Motel ~ Nanango Q is on the main street, traffic and other unwanted noise didn’t disturb us over the weekend. The location also worked really well for refuelling and for getting around Nanango on foot or by car. Nearby are the Taste Bud Sensation Bakery, pharmacy and discount chemist stores, IGA Supermarket, newsagent and gift shop, jewellers, and fresh fruit and vegetables, to name a few. Parking is nose to the curb or gutter, with the rear of the vehicle facing the road or street. We appreciated the reasonable price for our two-night weekend stay. We genuinely recommend considering The Star Motel ~ Nanango Q for your next adventure or run away from home, since we all need one from time to time. Safe travels, and if it's flooded, forget it.

The bed was comfortable, and Nanango Star impressed us with how spotless and tidy it was. We had a wonderfully comfortable stay and would definitely come back.
