I really feel I should have been offered a refund. The bed was hard as a rock, and the place was very dirty. There was bug dirt on the window sills and floor, dead bugs caught in spider webs, and mould in the shower. The shower definitely needed cleaning. A hole in the screen meant we couldn’t open the window, and the windows were filthy. The floors clearly hadn’t been washed in a long time, and every skirting board was covered in dust. I’d have to say it was the worst place we’ve ever stayed.

The meal unfortunately wasn’t to my taste, and I found the restaurant service a little over the top. The bed was also very hard and uncomfortable.

There’s a restaurant on site, and the place is out of town. I found the location nicer than staying in Nanango.

The cafe has just reopened, and Raul looked after us so well. It was great to have coffee after my Metamucil at breakfast. I tried the baked clams on rye, made by the lady in the kitchen, and she put so much love into it. It felt like a mother's hug or a warm blanket. Alex and Martin also made our trip worthwhile. Martin even tucked me in each night and kissed my forehead. You really don't get that sort of service anymore. I'll definitely be back.
