The staff made our family feel so welcome, always kind, attentive, and ready to help. We also found the motel convenient for getting around and exploring nearby. Our room was spacious, spotless, and laid out thoughtfully, and the whole property looked well cared for. We had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend it to families.

The RSL is only about 60 steps away and had a great feed. Staff were really friendly and checked a couple of times whether we needed anything. My two daughters slept like logs, so the beds must have been good.

I gave them my card number over the phone, but when I got there they expected me to pay in person. Then they asked for a $150 cancellation fee, even though they knew I couldn’t pay by card while I was trying to find somewhere to stay. After that, they said they could use the card number to charge the cancellation. That makes no sense to me. With money being an issue, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

There’s a good BBQ area if you’d rather make your own meal, and it’s a short walk to the RSL or breakfast places. The staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean and had tea and coffee, a fridge freezer, and a microwave.

The air-con was a lifesaver in that crazy Queensland heat, and the beds were comfortable. Our room was clean, too. Jasmine and Adrian were so hospitable, and nothing seemed like too much trouble for them. We had a great stay and would have no hesitation about returning or recommending the place.
