The staff were lovely to talk to and very helpful when we had questions or concerns. It’s an easy place to spend time relaxing in your room or using the facilities, and there are restaurants onsite as well as nearby options. The rooms are a little dated but still nice. For families, there are three pools, a tennis court, basketball court, bouncy pillow, playground, sauna, and hot tubs attached to the pools. The river is a two-minute drive away, with shops and Tewantin not far off. Eumundi (sp) market and Noosa’s attractions are also within reach. We’d stay again.

The only thing that concerned me was having to use a fob to exit the pool area. It seems like the gates should open quickly from inside in an emergency. Otherwise, we had a really great stay, with two separate pools, a tennis court, an in-ground jumper, a games area, and $15 egg Benny for breakfast. It’s right off Gympie Terrace, so you can enjoy the area.

We booked after seeing the good Google rating, but our experience was very disappointing. The welcome was warm, yet room No. 72 was a nightmare: it smelled bad, had mold and dirty equipment, and the washing machine leaked across the bathroom. We didn’t even want to sit on the couch. Luckily, we could move to another unit. The quality doesn’t match the price, and these rooms shouldn’t still be available to book.

We left the next morning because the superior room was so awful that we couldn’t stay. It was dirty, with disgusting marks on the walls, an old filthy portable stove, and a couch that sank until we were sitting on the ground. It looked nothing like the photos, and those are only a few examples. We’d booked what was meant to be a lovely weekend away, but felt completely uncomfortable. The after-hours call couldn’t help, so we spoke to reception when we left and emailed the manager. He refused to refund us and offered a “complimentary” two-night stay, even though we had already paid. I emailed back and still haven’t heard from him. We spent over $1400 and intend to take this further to get our money back. We were told the website has a disclaimer that rooms are privately owned and can differ, but that wasn’t on booking.com, where we booked, and it doesn’t excuse the filth.
