Noosa Lakes Resort

The bus stop right out front makes it easy to get into noosa heads, and reception service was good. The ladies there were lovely. We enjoyed the stay, and the rooms were spacious with a clean bathroom. The bed was the only downside. It was two single beds joined as a double, and they kept splitting apart while we slept. The bed was on wheels with no working brakes, so it moved around too. Sleeping in the gap between the two beds was very uncomfortable.

It’s a self-catering place, so we only really saw the staff at check-in and check-out. Both were easy, and they were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. The location is great: the bus stop outside goes to Noosa, and shops and pubs are a 10-minute walk away. It was reasonably priced and good value. Nice little gaff, would definitely recommend.

The apartment was privately owned and a bit tired, but it was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It exceeded our expectations and felt like good value, so we’d stay again. The pools are great, parking is allocated, and it’s a very relaxing spot with a good location. Seems like a good choice for kids too.

My husband and I had a great cabin, but my parents’ cabin was in poor condition for what they paid, so I can only give two stars. They spent $4200+ for 10 nights. Does that sound like cheapskates to you? The resort partly fixed the issues, but only after my email, my phone call, my Mum’s contact with booking.com and my Dad talking to reception. Several things in my parents’ cabin were hazardous or broken. When we raised them, Leah was aggressive, argumentative and insulting to my Dad. She said, “You just want money don’t you?”, “I’ve seen the photos you don’t have to show me!” and “I’m not allowed into your cabin to look, it’s private property (after being invited)”. Leah, the receptionist, ruined the spirit of my family’s holiday here. She needs urgent customer service training. She talked over me through our entire phone call, didn’t listen to or act on my concerns until the end of the trip, when I’m guessing booking.com gave her a nudge. She only defended the resort and deflected any responsibility. Two stars because my husband and I had a great cabin, minus three for Leah’s behaviour and the state of my parents’ cabin given the price.
