Charm Thai Cuisine, near Woolworths, was a good find. We enjoyed the Green Curry and Thai Seafood Fried Rice, both tasty and reasonably priced. Woolworths in Tewantin is only about a five-minute drive away, while Noosa Heads Main Beach is roughly 20 minutes by car, so the park felt nicely removed from the crowds. We loved waking up to flowers, sunshine and birdsong. The cabins have fly screens, though a few had small holes. We didn’t see any mosquitoes during our stay. Our cabin also had a little outdoor seating area, lovely for relaxing when it’s cool. Inside, there was a double bed in its own room and bunk beds in the lounge, which would suit kids. The lounge had air conditioning, and there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom. During our Dec 17-19 stay the nights were cool, and the AC reached the bedroom comfortably. The bedroom was snug: we fitted two 29-inch suitcases, one in the wardrobe and one under the vanity, but it was a squeeze. The mattress was very comfortable and we slept well. The bathroom’s shower curtain didn’t stop all the water from splashing out, and the fixed overhead shower was awkward. The toiletries, though, were excellent. The kitchen had a microwave, kettle and fridge with a freezer compartment. A dishwasher would have been handy. There’s a sofa, dining table and chairs in the lounge, and our place had its own parking spot right outside, very convenient for a road trip. This was our first stop in Noosa, and the separate cabin-style homes gave it the feel of a premium holiday park. The front desk staff were polite and gave us a useful map of the facilities. There’s a pool, BBQ area and pool table, plus family activities such as Movie Nights. It’s pet-friendly too, which added to the welcoming feel. One practical thing to know: guests have to sort their rubbish and take it to the designated bins. We cooked during our two-night stay and didn’t have enough rubbish bags. Reception closes at 8:00 PM, so a few extra bags in the cabin would help.

The road beside the campground was the one drawback for us. Traffic noise started early and carried on into the evening. Still, we had a really nice stay in a deluxe safari tent. The layout and design were excellent, and we made good use of the outdoor bathtub. Reception were welcoming and helpful, and let us into the accommodation almost two hours before the usual check-in time. I’d happily come back.

A few people were flying in and out of the park. That wasn’t the park’s fault, though it didn’t seem to be addressed either. We also encountered one staff member who was rude on several occasions, while the others were very nice. The cabin bathroom needs repairs. Water leaked across the floor through cracked shower grout, leaving it dangerously slippery for kids. An okay place to stay, but that was a real concern.

The kids had a good time with the facilities, and there’s a fish and chips shop out front. We stayed in a deluxe cabin, which was nicer than the budget option, though you do get what you pay for. The pizza van wasn’t around during our visit, so I can’t say how that is. We had a lovely stay.

The amenities were spotless and almost empty whenever I went, and after 8pm the fully booked park was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. The gardens were well kept, there was no litter, and the camp kitchen had everything we needed. It’s a great family place. We were a bit disappointed by the size of the large ensuite site we booked. Maybe it counts as large by caravan standards, but four sites were within arm’s reach. With small children and a big, friendly dog, we wanted more room so nobody got bumped. The alphabet-named sites were much longer and had a nice garden-like space at the back. They’re roadside, so there was some traffic noise, but it didn’t bother us. We had no neighbours in front or behind, though the side neighbours were still closer than we prefer. Everyone was friendly and respectful. The staff were friendly and quickly offered a solution when we explained the space issue. The park is basically in Noosa’s suburbs. We didn’t find many interesting places to walk to with the dog, but the marina is a short drive away, with good fish and chips.
