It was Anzac day and all the bars were buzzing. We hadn’t been there before and were impressed that each of the multiple bars had its own vibe. I was happy with the menu, which had plenty of vegan options for me, and they offered to veganise other dishes too. The room was really lovely and looked recently renovated to a high standard. It even had a coffee machine. Austin checked us in very efficiently, then kindly found me soy milk to take to the room. The bar staff were all quick and friendly. We had a great overnight stay, excellent value at $230 for the night, and would definitely stay again. 10/10!

The new fitout looks stunning, and the location is amazing. There’s a great kids playground too. If the food were good, we’d go back every weekend, but for us it was basically inedible, so we can’t return. The whole family felt sick all day after eating there. Everything seemed to be deep fried or oily and made with cheap seed oils. You could tell as soon as the food hit the table. The fish was disgustingly oily, the bug rolls were horrible, and the mushrooms came coated in some sort of gross oil and thick batter. The food and service were both awful. It’s a shame, because the place could be so good. It’s the same old problem with businesses on the Sunshine Coast and Noosa, they never get the food right. If you do want to try it, my advice is to stick to oven-cooked things like lamb or steak and ask for no oil at all.

We had lunch here and the food was great. Dylan S served us in the bistro and was especially polite and accommodating to our needs. I believe Finn R was behind the bar, and he was great and polite too. Those two made the experience 10X better. I’ll definitely come back soon because of their service, and would recommend the place.

This review is long overdue, from January. I was visiting from Melbourne, and my brother took us to try the beer garden after the renovation. The service was great and the food was delicious, especially the spectacular wood fired pizza. We came back a few days later and had another perfect meal. We ordered coffees that time and they came out cold. I wasn’t too bothered, things happen. Annalise asked how they were, and my brother told her they were cold. In Melbourne, I can assure you, they’d just say “sorry about that”. Annalise said that wasn’t good enough and called the manager, Darren. He apologized profusely and refunded me, then personally made us two new hot coffees to take away since I had to get to the airport. That kind of personal service is rare these days. I’ll definitely return.
