The shared bathrooms are the main downside, with just one shower and toilet cubicle for each of the women's and men's sections. Otherwise, it's good for the price and handy for a short stay or workers' accommodation. Each room has a microwave, stovetop and sink, plus cutlery, bowls, plates, pots and pans. There's plenty of storage, and the staff are friendly and great at customer service.

The pool area is lovely, with beautiful gardens and a well-kept pool by reception. I was impressed by how clean the rooms and shared spaces were, including the communal kitchen and the bathroom I used from my room. There are room options for different budgets, from shared dorms to single rooms with shared bathrooms. Even though it's on a main road, I didn't hear traffic or other residents. The manager lives onsite with his family, and was welcoming and easy to reach. I'd recommend it and stay again. Good spot to stay.

The location is really central, close to the city, Mindil Beach, the botanical gardens and the casino. Free WiFi and a great pool, with friendly faces around all the time. Best lodge in Darwin, highly recommend.

It's a dive. At times it feels more like living in a town camp, with people arguing and fighting. The manager is whiny and egotistical, acting like the world revolves around him.
