The staff made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and they were absolutely wonderful throughout. Motel Tropicana was comfortable, clean, and a lovely place to relax. We had such a nice stay and will definitely come back. Thanks again.

The dark brick and wood panelling made the rooms so dim that we needed the lights on by mid-afternoon, even with the curtains open. They were clean and tidy, but felt like stepping back into the 70s. A quick, reasonably cheap refurbishment would make a world of difference.

The rooms are very well kept, and reception was lovely and friendly when we arrived. It’s quiet and very clean, with the beach and shops a short drive away or about a half-hour walk.

The room was comfortable, with free wifi and one assigned parking space. Late check-in after reception hours was easy.

There was too much of a chill to give the pool a try, unfortunately. The rooms were really spacious, though, and had everything for making hot drinks or sandwiches. Good location and good value.
