Classique Bed and Breakfast

The breakfast was a lovely spread of toast, jams, eggs and tasty fruit, served on the deck under a beautiful blue sky. For anyone going to the stadium, as I did, it's a leisurely 10-15 minute walk away. The hosts did everything they could to make the stay enjoyable, though getting the Cowboys to win seems outside their remit! Classique Bed and Breakfast deserves more than five stars. It's a fascinating place, with a beautiful building, plenty of ambience and immaculate cleanliness. The beds were very comfortable, and the owners were delightful, friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. It feels like a proper old-fashioned B&B. When I'm next in Townsville, I'd be so disappointed if I couldn't get a room here. Book a room and you'll see why the reviews are all five stars. I only wish I could award more. Craig.

Classique has a gorgeous house full of charming little details that capture the feel of the 1890s, when it was built. We loved it and would definitely come back. The hosts were absolutely lovely and gave us super helpful tips for our Magnetic Island trip, including parking, bus schedules and places to stay. Breakfast was perfect in the morning: tea or coffee, a beautiful and delicious platter, eggs, jam, butter and toast.

The breakfast was well presented, healthy and good, and we greatly enjoyed our stay. The owners, Iva and Russell, are such a lovely couple. They notice every detail and treat their guests like long-time friends. The house and its decorations are beautiful, and it meets all my expectations for a nice family B&B. We'd happily come back if we get the chance.

Breakfast was such a generous, delicious spread that we couldn't finish it. Eating outside among the tropical trees in the sun felt almost like being transported to Fiji. We left feeling refreshed, rested and very well cared for. This place really can't be faulted. The hosts welcomed us with tea and made sure every detail was taken care of. Their hospitality felt genuine and comfortable, like arriving at a home where you belong without anything feeling overdone. Our rooms had gorgeous period ambience. The late 18th-century house was beautifully maintained, spotless and in excellent condition. We also appreciated the fresh towels each day and all the thoughtful touches. The service went above and beyond, and our stay was unforgettable. Thank you for sharing such a stunning home with us.
