We had a comfortable room and liked the little balcony, but after four nights we wouldn't stay again. The resort may suit families with young children, though several amenities let it down. The pool was fairly dirty most days, and orange construction signs around the place made it feel tacky. The gym wasn't available, the restaurant was closed, the bar had limited hours, and breakfast was very basic.

Parking was easy with plenty of spaces, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. My room stayed clean and well cared for throughout the visit. It was a peaceful, relaxing stay.

Our newly renovated family suite had two bedrooms and slept five comfortably. The pool was clean, with room for the kids to play or for us to relax. Happy hour at the bar had great prices, and there was a public grill for making supper.

The new beds were really comfortable, and the rooms have had a bit of a makeover. But at $400 a night I expected a lot more. The garden areas still look run down, and although they advertised the bar opening at 4.30pm with happy hour and snacks on the blackboard, there was no bar and no food. The bathroom tiles were stained and mouldy, and the timber vanity needs touching up.

Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh tropical fruit, breads, cereals, pastries and drinks, all laid out beautifully. The room was immaculate, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. It was a pleasure staying at this lovely resort, and I'll return.
