After getting four confirmation emails for yesterday’s online booking, I arrived to find nobody there. I knocked on all five unit doors and waited nearly an hour. I’d apparently booked the last room, but calls and emails got no response. I’m out $125, which feels like I’ve been ripped off. I’m going to the ombudsmen to try to get my money back. It’s disgusting to treat people this way. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed, and I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

We had a lovely chat with the owners, who have big plans for beautiful murals, and the service was wonderful. The motel seems to be in the middle of a renewal. We stopped for a quick dinner and had the Mexican loaded fries and chicken schnitzel. Both were cooked beautifully, hearty and wholesome. It looks like they may also have a few day trip foods to take away. A great stop, and I’ll definitely recommend it to friends heading this way.

Friendly people, and the food was well worth stopping for. I’m enjoying grilled fish with crispy chips now, and had a lovely hamburger later, moist and juicy. The place needs clearer signs out front, though. The weighbridge blocks the full view.

I didn’t stay here and wasn’t after bakery food, so I called into the cafe instead. The hamburger was the best I’ve had in years, and the Indian food I bought was absolutely fantastic, better than the restaurant in my area. Prices are very reasonable, too. The man who served me was so nice and helpful. I highly recommend this business and will definitely visit again.
