The location is six star, with beach access right through the gate. We could walk to lots of great restaurants, Tugun Surf Club, and the tavern next door, so it was easy to find whatever we felt like eating. Our two-bedroom apartment was roomy, clean, and had everything we needed. Check-in was friendly and efficient, and checkout was lovely too. We hardly heard the planes, and watching them come in to land from the beach was a novelty.

We spent a week here with family in late January. The apartment was very spacious, and the pool was clean and nice. Reception service and maintenance were very good, and the beach is close by. The airport is nearby too, but planes and their noise weren't an issue. Great for a low price, and we'll definitely be back.

If waking up and walking straight onto the sand is the goal, Golden Riviera Beach Resort gets a 10/10 for location. We could park the car and forget about it for the holiday. It has a casual, laid-back resort feel, and direct beach access makes it feel like a luxury retreat for anyone who puts the ocean first.

The room's cleanliness was disappointing during our work trip this week. Our socks turned black from the sticky floors, and the cutlery and cups were unwashed with food still on them. There was black hair and dirt in the shower and bath. The second bedroom curtains were broken, so light got in early each morning, and the outdoor furniture was mouldy and unclean.

Donna and her team go above and beyond, and the grounds are lush, well kept, and have a relaxing holiday feel. The apartments are spacious, clean, and equipped with what you need. It's a great base for enjoying Tugun Beach, with shops and restaurants in walking distance and the coastal path at the front door, leading to local surf clubs. Golden Riviera is beachfront, with guest access through a gate, plus an inviting pool if you'd rather swim or sunbathe there. There's underground parking in designated spaces, with stairwell access to the apartments. Great value, excellent customer service, and a great place to stay.
