The top-level room was great value, and the person who checked me in was lovely. It was a great room and changed some of my old ideas about motels. I'd recommend it.

I paid for an updated suite, but was put in an older, outdated standard twin room instead of the queen executive room I booked. The managers gave me a story about internet booking problems, and I never got back the difference in room price. I won't stay there again.

After our group left some belongings behind, they were promptly posted back to a couple of us. The rooms were very clean, and the service on arrival was friendly. It's convenient to the brewery and good value for money. We'd recommend it and stay again.

The breakfast was an absolute treat, and all the staff were warm and friendly. We stopped here on the way home from the Victorian high country, and it was a great place to stay. The modern room had a shower with great water pressure, and the manager was so accommodating when we asked for a quiet room away from the street. For dinner, we recommend the Oriental Hotel, but book ahead because it gets packed.

The motel is fine and clean, with what you'd expect from a basic country place. The refurbished 'executive' rooms were renovated over 10 years ago, so for the price I expected something brand new. They're overpriced, so don't pay extra.
