Cupitt's Estate

We had lunch at this winery with a lovely view, whether you sit inside or out. Before eating, we did a seated tasting in the cellar door. The man guiding us knew his stuff and had a good sense of humour. A winemaker also came out and let us try a new wine straight from the tank, just before they were about to start bottling it. So nice! All the staff were really friendly. One of our meals arrived late and they went out of their way to help. They serve beer as well as wine, which made my husband very happy.

We were very grateful for how the staff helped us when we really needed it. They were friendly, knew their stuff, and looked after us so well during an amazing wine tasting tour. The food was delicious too. Exceptional, highly recommend! 💯

The views over the vineyard make Cupitt’s Estate a beautiful stop on the South Coast. It gets busy, so book ahead. The wines are still nice, though I was disappointed to find fewer craft beers on tap in the restaurant. The food used to be great, but lately the quality seems to have dropped. It’s a lovely spot for the scenery and a drink, while the dining experience isn’t what it used to be.

Sitting on the balcony with a cuppa in the morning was lovely. We watched cows mosey along, birds and bunnies go about their day, and heard kookaburras cackle across the valley. We’d come for a wedding at Cupitts, and everything was absolutely divine, from the easy, friendly check-in to the beautiful artworks in the room. The food at the venue was exquisite. My breakfast hamper had gluten free sourdough, and they also amended the wedding food to include gluten free options. I couldn’t recommend the place more highly, and the other guests and family I spoke to agreed.
