Lucinda Bed And Breakfast

Fiona made our stay special at this lovely hotel. She’s so warm and welcoming, and the hot breakfast she prepared was delicious. Thank you.

The rooms are huge and really cosy, and the bathroom may not suit everyone, though it fits the feel of the place. If you’re after an old Victorian-style room in a classical mansion, this is the spot. The owner is a lovely lady who’s had the property for over 27 years and takes pride in everything. She can accommodate most people’s needs and puts out a great breakfast spread. She’s an awesome person. I’ll be back when I’m in the area!

Fiona welcomed us even though it was late, and the historic house is only 10mins from the Spirit of Tasmania. The rooms were spacious and clean, with everything we needed except a walk-in shower. She also cooked breakfast earlier than usual so we could get on our way. Great place to stay!

Lucinda sits proudly on top of Dooley's Hill, looking out over the Historic Town of Latrobe. What a lovely place to stay, a beautiful home with plenty of charm and appeal. Fiona, the hostess, greets you with a welcoming smile and is happy to chat. The rooms are warm, peaceful and comfortable. Breakfast includes delicious bacon, eggs, fried tomato and toast, plus coffee and fresh orange juice. There are cereals and spreads too. We give Lucinda five stars. We recently stayed in a family deluxe room at the Launceston Casino, and it was nowhere near the standard we experienced here. We’ll certainly stay again. If you want a great place with everything you need at a great price, you can’t go past Lucinda.
