The menu is quite limited, and when the dining room fills up, it gets very noisy and hard to enjoy a quiet dinner. Still, the staff are fantastic, friendly, and attentive to your needs. Bar service is quick and efficient, and they'll bring drinks to your table. In winter the wood heater is welcoming and cozy, with a lovely ambience. Dining here is a great experience.

I spent several months using the accommodation and business venue at the local treasure, Bass and Flinders Motor Inn, while working away. It has to be one of the cleanest motels I've ever stayed in. The owners were helpful, always greeted me warmly, and looked after us well in the business venue too. Thank you Mary, Bill and son Hamish, for making working away a better experience for me.

The dining area at Bass & Flinders has recently been renovated and is bright and airy. We enjoyed another of our regular club evenings there. The Fish of The Day was delicious as usual and generously served. The staff and manager are very friendly and community minded, and the meal was good value for money.

I had the scallops, and they were delicious and cooked perfectly. None of the other attendees complained either. I highly recommend Bass and Flinders for the food, service, and ultra friendly atmosphere. I feel compelled to dispute Susan Berry's disparaging remarks about her first and only visit to our monthly counter meal. She doesn't speak for our club and had no right to comment on the meals of the other 34 members present. Her culinary expertise seems to match her numeracy, grammar, and spelling skills. The restaurant is onsite, and the food was delicious. There's also an indoor pool and guest laundry. Everything was very clean and the staff were friendly. I'll definitely stay again. Ring the motel direct for a good deal.
