Carol knows heaps about the local area and Tasmania, and she also volunteers at the local Information Centre. She and the other hosts were so attentive. We stayed in the charming double room with an ensuite, in this historic B&B surrounded by lovely, spacious gardens. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. I can’t recommend it enough!

Carol made us a delicious breakfast every morning, including some amazing waffles. She was generous and sincere, and really went out of her way to make our stay special. Winterbrook House has loads of old-fashioned charm that suits its history. It’s a cut above most B&B places and well worth seeking out. Five stars!

The breakfast was fantastic, with homemade jams, fresh fruit and yoghurt, cereals, and fresh milk. We really enjoyed staying at Winterbrook, a gorgeous, quaint B&B with hosts who were happy to accommodate us. We also asked to meet their lovely dogs and got introduced. I’d highly recommend it to anyone after a nice B&B stay in Ulverstone.

The location worked really well, close to the lovely North West attractions, and the town has everything a visitor needs. Tony and Wendy were incredibly helpful and generous with their time while I was there. The accommodation was great, clean and fresh, with lots of hanging space and a kitchen that had everything, plus more. I’d highly recommend Winterbrook BNB.

Winterbrook came through when we needed a bed for the night at short notice. The hostess was great, the place had a lovely atmosphere, and breakfast was fresh and perfect. Lots of charm too.
