Riders’ Rest Nundle

The coffee shop out front is a nice bonus. I've stayed here a few times now, and it's always clean and comfortable. Steve's gracious and easy to get along with.

Steve's always smiling and happy to chat, and he serves coffee and donuts from the container shop out front. He's an energetic, enthusiastic young fellow having a crack at offering good value accommodation to all travellers. Good to support small businesses. After a day's ride, this is a great place to stop. The newly renovated rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The shower's so huge you could swing a cat in it while dancing!

We were wrecked after riding over from Walcha, but the Riders Rest had us recharged and ready to head to Tamworth after a few coffees and plenty of donuts. A market at The Peel Inn that morning made it even more special, on a cold but sunny winter's day. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with fantastic artwork, a recent renovation, great bathroom facilities, and A/C. It's in a top location, and the host responds quickly and serves hot coffee and donuts in the morning. Hard to imagine finding that combination anywhere else. A great spot for a night or longer.

That relaxed atmosphere is lovely, and the chocolate is a fun extra. Steve's a great host, and the rooms and location are both great. It's always nice to arrive after a long ride and find your room ready and waiting.
