The shady sites and great camp kitchen make this one of our favourite caravan parks. We've been twice and would happily return when we're in the area.

We spent three nights at Fossickers with our baby and found it a fantastic place for families, with great camping facilities and cabins too. We also enjoyed exploring town, seeing the old Wool Mill still at work, and getting a delicious milkshake at the old Gold Miners cottage. It feels like a park for all ages.

We've made some really good friends here, and the grounds are always well maintained. Laura and Ben, a young family, are amazing. After the last storm wrecked our campsite, Ben drove around checking that everyone was alright. When he saw our site, he offered us a cabin for a few nights straight away. The next morning Laura arranged for someone to help salvage what we could and throw out the ruined things. Thanks to them, we were able to carry on with our holiday.

The shared kitchen had plenty of equipment, and there were barbecues too. I spent a couple of nights here in my van in early spring. It was a lovely, well-kept site beside a bubbling brook.

We've stayed in both the River edge cabin and River view, and each was clean and comfortable. The accommodation is great, the grounds are so well looked after, and the staff are friendly and fantastic. Nundle is a brilliant getaway, and Fossickers Tourist Park is a must, especially with kids. You can try your luck panning for gold in the Peel River just behind. My family and I will definitely be back.
