The property is beautiful, with spacious, very clean rooms and all the amenities. We loved sitting on the patio overlooking the garden. My fiancé and I stayed at Jenkins for three days, and Brett and Pip made us feel completely at home. They even let us use their kitchen to cook whatever we wanted. Highly recommend a visit, and we'll definitely return.
The breakfast was sensational and made us feel very spoilt, especially with such reasonable room rates. We loved the lovely decor and beautifully appointed, super comfy bedrooms. Fresh homemade Anzac biscuits in the living room and chocolates in our room were thoughtful little extras, and reading beside the open fireplace was a bonus. Nundle locals were so friendly, from the shopkeepers happy to chat to the welcoming pub dinner. If you're heading to Nundle, or even if you're not, experience Pip and Brett's hospitality.
Pip and Brett were lovely hosts, so welcoming and friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with them. The fresh homemade breakfast they prepared each morning was a real treat. I stayed two nights with a friend at Jenkins Street Guesthouse while we were hunting in Nundle State forest. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the property has a nice garden, sun room and outdoor dining area overlooking the garden. At the pub next door, we met friendly locals who were helpful with our questions. It's a great place for a relaxing rural NSW getaway, just minutes from the state forest, and it can also be booked for a group if you want to bring family or friends.
We'd only meant to find somewhere to sleep and get a little work done for the night, but this place turned out to be breathtaking. The old building is full of thoughtful details, with so many little touches to notice. Pip and Brett were lovely to talk with, and Pip's breakfast for guests was far beyond what we'd expected from a standard continental spread. Everything was spotless and looked stunning. A real hidden gem in rural NSW.
I stayed at Jenkins street guest house while hunting in the Nundle state forest. When I got bogged in the mud during the trip, I rang Pip for help, and Bret showed up within 30 minutes with a few mates to get us out. They also make tasty breakfasts in house for guests. Pip and Bret are a lovely couple who really look after people, and the service was fantastic. The place was super clean and a very different kind of accommodation experience. The town is full of lovely people too. I'll definitely return to Nundle and stay at Jenkins street guesthouse. Highly recommend it.
