Gallery Resort Style Penthouse no 13

The rooms are nicely separated, so my friend had her own bedroom, bathroom, and toilet while I had space to myself. The kitchen amenities were great, and the huge, comfortable lounge with its big TV was a 10/10 for me. The cupboard games and books were a nice touch too. That said, for the price and the penthouse listing, I expected a standard closer to other places I've stayed. It feels like a top-floor apartment rather than a penthouse. The main bedroom bathroom needs work: no grab rails or anything to hold onto in the shower, which was difficult for me as I'm in a wheelchair most of the time. I had to bring my own stool, and there was nowhere to put shampoo except the floor. There's only a small plastic holder for shower gel, no towel rail, the towels are small, and there are no tissues. All the blinds work together, including the bedroom ones, so raising the lounge blinds raises those too. Separate controls would make more sense. We were there for four nights, but with no reception there was no way to get clean towels. There's also no luggage trolley, so my friend had to make several trips to the car to bring our bags up.

I had a great stay with my friends. The rooms were tidy and clean, the service was good, and the atmosphere was lovely. I'd definitely recommend booking.

The beach and shops are an easy walk away, and the apartment has lovely views. It's modern, clean, and beautifully fitted out. We appreciated the little touches, like the wine and chocolates, which showed the thoughtful hospitality. We really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it.

There's loads of room inside, especially in the living area, and the balcony is a bonus. Shops are close, and there's access to a tennis court and pool. We thought it would be worth staying here in summer. The service could be better, though, and the balcony needed a proper clean. There was BBQ grease on the floor and table.
