The location was really convenient, with restaurants nearby and a huge park and river beach just a 7-minute walk away. There was plenty of parking too. I loved the refreshing, welcoming fragrance as soon as I walked in. The amenities were excellent, and Wi-Fi plus a TV with YouTube kept my child happy after a tiring day of travel. A perfect spot for a relaxing break.

There was plenty of room, with a comfortable sofa, a decent-sized TV and fridge, and a good shower. Tea, coffee and a microwave were provided too. Pubs and restaurants are a 20-minute walk away, but that wasn’t a big deal. I knew where the place was when I booked it.

The pool was especially nice on a hot 43-degree day, and the place is central to the town centre and facilities. The rooms were clean and well appointed, with a comfortable bed and a lounge area. Staff were helpful.

The reception staff were warm, welcoming and helpful with my very last-minute booking. I’ll definitely stay again and have already recommended the place to others. It’s well worth it. The whole place is immaculate, with spotless, beautifully done-up rooms. The cleaning staff deserve a raise for how well they keep it. There’s a gentle fresh smell when you first enter, and the rooms are cosy but spacious, with everything needed to be comfortable for a few days. The bathrooms were nearly sparkling, the towels neat and clean, and the body wash and shampoo were so nice we looked to see if we could buy them near home.

The location was great and communication was good, but the room was disgusting. The mustard-coloured carpet was black, and the mini fridge smelled of sewage. Instead of replacing it, they tried to cover the smell with overpowering, cheap carpet deodoriser. The motel car park is large enough that there’s no reason not to have designated parking in front of the rooms.
