Wagga Wagga Country Cottages

I was made to feel quite stupid when I arrived, after finding out my infant daughter wasn't included in the booking even though I'd checked and confirmed that I had booked her. I had to pay extra just for her to sleep in the same bed as me, taking up no additional space in a large cottage. We also weren't told at check-in that the gas heater wasn't working or that there was no wifi.

The place is wonderfully quiet, away from the noise of the city, and the owners were very nice and helpful. We had a two bedroom house with a good heater, a small lawn out front and parking. There was a BBQ area just outside, and the kitchen had a fridge, oven, hot plates, cutlery, pots and pans, and a toaster. They'd also left a large jar of milk, juice, bread slices, jam and butter. The rating was high, but there weren't many pictures of the rooms, so I took some myself. Loved every bit of the stay and definitely want to come back.

The property was beautiful and in immaculate condition, with amazing views and plenty of space to walk around and enjoy nature. Amenities and restaurants are close by, which makes it a great family getaway. It was one of my favourite places to stay on our trip, and we'll definitely visit again. Highly recommended for families, couples or groups of friends.

The cottages were a lovely place to finish our two-week road trip, even with our 1- and 3-year-olds along. We were exhausted and a bit out of it, but the owners were so welcoming and patient with all our faffing about. The three cottages sit fairly close together, though we never heard the neighbours. Inside was gorgeous, with that old-school luxury feel and a spa bath. I'd love to come back for a night, maybe without the kids next time.
