There’s no Wi-Fi in the cottages, just around reception, and Telstra is the only mobile network that works. That suited us for a short time off the grid. The cottages have lovely Murray views and plenty of room for a small family. Staff were friendly, and there’s lots to do or relax with, from the pools and tennis court to canoeing and a big stack of DVDs. We even spotted a wallaby.

Make sure to bring food and drinks, since everything is a long way away. There’s no mobile reception either, so you feel pretty cut off, though you can borrow DVDs from reception and warm up by the fireplace. We stayed in a three-bedroom cottage with a sunrise view on this 180 acre property. The scenery kept changing with the daylight and clouds moving over the mountain, very relaxing. Spring or autumn seems like the best time to visit. Lots of cottage options, and the owner was really helpful.

Keep an eye out for kangaroos if you go walking in the evening. The room was clean and lovely, the views were great, and there’s a swimming pool. The owner was really friendly too.

We saw kangaroos, wombats and deer around the property during our stay. The owners and managers were so helpful and did everything they could to make it a great visit. The cottages are beautiful and spread across a huge property, with amazing pools as well. Highly recommend.

There isn’t a lot to do in winter, but we came for a relaxing weekend and that was fine. You can walk one of the trails for nice views over the river. The spa cottage was comfortable, with fantastic views, and the location was beautiful. Service was great, and they made booking very easy.
