The place has lots of features, but they don’t make up for the owner’s ignorant behavior. My partner and I have stayed at many Bed and Breakfasts, and we’ve never had this kind of rude attitude. “We offer it but we don’t want to do it” could be the motto here. The service is appalling, and it feels like they don’t want to give anyone decent customer service. Don’t run a B&B if you don’t like dealing with guests. Breakfast was a short menu of just four items. My Eggs Florentine weren’t as described: they were microwaved eggs and cheese in a small pot, with no hollandaise sauce. My partner’s scrambled eggs were microwaved too. I asked for bacon on the side, but the owner walked away before hearing me. When I asked again, he got annoyed, and we each got ONE rasher, microwaved AGAIN. We didn’t complain when asked how it was because we worried the owner would get even more annoyed and make the rest of our stay worse. That evening, I went to say we wouldn’t have breakfast the next morning. The owner came out after I knocked. I asked, “How’re you going?” and he just stared blankly. When I repeated myself, he bluntly asked, “Well what do you want?” in an agitated voice. Not even a little small talk? Wow. Get over yourself, mate.

These owners provided appalling service. It was extremely disappointing, and nowhere near the 5 star rating they claim.

Don’t bother. You can’t call to make a booking. They answered the phone, then said, “we are not open at the moment”.
