Books about the property and region, cookbooks, and plenty of other topics kept us browsing, and the Farm Shop presented the history of its beginnings in an informative way. We also enjoyed a lovely coffee there. Tom greeted us when we arrived and gave us all the information we needed. Our accommodation was already warm, cosy, very clean, and had everything we needed. We loved being surrounded by sheep and lambs during our 3 night stay at Tarndie. Birregurra, with its lovely eateries, Colac, and Forrest are all nearby. Highly recommended hidden delight!

As a knitter who loves Polwarth wool, spending time in the wool shop and chatting with Tom was a real highlight. Our Stables Studio was spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, and had lovely views over the farm and gardens. We stayed in late May as part of a longer trip exploring the Otway Ranges and surrounds. Each morning we joined Tom, family members, farm and wool shop workers, and visitors in the 'Homestead Courtyard Around 10am'. That's also the name of the custom coffee blend, roasted nearby in Birregurra, that was served to us. It was a great chance to hear about the farm's history and the local area. The location made it easy to head out to Lake Elizabeth, Beauchamp Falls, and the Otway Redwoods, as well as eat along the Otway Harvest Trail at Otway Artisan Gluten Free Bakery and Schultz Organic Creamery Cafe/Dairy. Highly recommended!

The quiet setting gave our family a chance to relax, do very little, and enjoy each other's company while knitting, crafting, or learning to knit with the quality wool grown and hand crafted at Tarndie. We all left the Woolshop with our arms full of beautiful knitting yarn and lots of project ideas. Tom and everyone at Tarndie were welcoming and accommodating. We also really enjoyed hearing about the history of Tarndi, the Polwarth sheep, and how the wool goes from the sheep to rich, soft hand dyed wool. The setting and accommodation were just right for our family, and we enjoyed the fresh country air. Thank you, Tom and the Tarndi flock.

We stayed in the farmhouse with friends and had everything we needed. It was clean, the beds were really comfortable, and the fresh flowers and new bath on the deck were lovely little extras. The peaceful, beautiful surroundings made us feel very welcome, as did Tom and the Tarndi flock. We've stayed at Tarndie before, thoroughly enjoyed this visit too, and will definitely be back.
