The unit itself looked great, with polished timber floors and halogen downlights operated by a clever touchscreen. But we ran into a long list of problems. Two of the three bedrooms were locked, and our key wouldn't open them. The manager said they assumed two guests wouldn't need the other rooms because we'd booked for two people. I explained we weren't a couple, so she came over and unlocked one. I was paying for three rooms but could only use one or two. There was half-eaten kids' cheese snacks and opened, expired milk left in the fridge. The shower was nearly unusable. The water pressure was extremely weak, and adjusting the tap took about 30 seconds to affect the temperature, swinging from scalding hot to cold. I know the pressure may not be the owner's fault, but the plumbing needs attention and a water-saving shower head might help. The beds were far too soft to support even one person, and I woke with terrible back pain. The TV in the spare bedroom had no remote, so we couldn't use it from bed. In the main bedroom, wiring dangled down the wall from the TV. The toilet roll holder had come off, screws still in the wall, so we had to pick the toilet paper up from the floor each time. The bathroom door latch was broken, and the side door to the main bedroom was jammed shut. The listing said internet was included, but there was no connection and the manager couldn't give us a password. We had to find internet elsewhere to book travel and missed cheaper tickets. The stairs creak very loudly, which could be a real nuisance for a bigger group with people coming and going early or late. I asked the manager how to send feedback and got an invalid email address. I sent my complaint to another address, said I'd leave online feedback, and never got a reply. I'd give this place a miss.
